Throughout the day I captured RichTea Projects as they wrapped a selection of bronze sculptures around the Harlow Town Centre grounds. This was part of ‘Harlow OUT ON TOUR’ which aimed to get the public talking about Harlow’s wonderful sculpture and watercolour collection.

I enjoyed following the project in full view of the public. I got to experience how public art and public facing projects can spark conversation with people who may not visit art galleries or may have only experienced art through walking past the sculptures in and around their town.

'RichTea Projects artists Amanda Westbury and Elaine Tribley quickly got reactions when they wrapped four of the sculptures in the town in broad daylight. Many local people were inquisitive and were worried that the sculptures where going to removed and taken to London whilst others suggested more to be wrapped.'
